Thursday 22 AprilPaul Nash, Chaos Decoratif, 1917, watercolour, 1925.218
Richard Wilson, A Summer Evening, 1764, oil on canvas, 1969.182 Objects chosen by Ruth and Cathy. Two very different artworks of dead wood and live trees chosen at short notice today. We started with Paul Nash (thinking about our garden project), which led to a sharing of gardens past and present - it's amazing how much you can do with just a windowsill. |
Talking about the Platt Hall garden also showed up how lockdown working isn't helpful for linking different elements of a project - hardly anyone was aware of it. So a key lesson from today is joining up the dots as lockdown eases and sharing, sharing, sharing.

I love how Platt Chats move me on a little in thinking about Platt Hall." |
