All of the information about objects stored at Platt Hall are held on the Emu - Electronic Museum database. As objects have returned to Platt Hall, the location has been updated on Emu. The Collection Chat today involved us using Emu to get a better sense of what is at Platt Hall based on personal interests. We began with a word association game to gather a pool of words to search on Emu.
Today's conversation was scribed live and illustrated beautifully by artist, Laurie Pink. Following on from the conversation, we mapped out the objects that we are keen to explore in future sessions including a punk jacket, stamp box, photography album and a miniature Fishmongers. This also gave us an indication of which objects are hidden and perhaps need to be brought out within future displays.
