I chose this dress for mainy sentimental and personal reasons: my daughter would have loved it! It is the quintessential wee girl's dress. Lovely print, outline, smocking. And one which although possibly a dress for 'best', is also one that can be played in! And being Liberty cotton it will be washable (a very important aspect of children's clothing!)

I love this dress as it reminds me of a dress,in the same style ,made for me by Mother in 1964. Mine was a blue print & it was my favourite.
