About the event
This Open Day is all about Food and Drink and celebrates the end of our year of research with artists : The Place we Imagine : Food and Drink at Platt Hall
Our new picnic rug made by children from Heald Place Primary School and artist, Thomas Wells will be on display in the Dining Room.
Chef Katie from Platt Fields Market Garden will be at the Hall cooking up a soup from fresh vegetables. Chat to Katie as she makes a soup and at 2pm, we will be giving out portions of it free.
Meet Dan and the garden volunteer team and plant a vegetable seed in the garden and take it home.
Artist, Kirstine Large, will be creating a Platt Hall recipe box, and would love to hear what your favourite family recipes are. Add them to the box.
