Platt Hall, Platt Fields Park - Free
SEEN IN THE WINDOWS, in collaboration with Platt Hall, exhibits photography and excerpts of articles that were commissioned for Issue One of SEEN. Featuring stories of connection and resilience, including the migration journey of Moss Side musician HMD as told to poet Isaiah Hull and a first person account of DJ Paulette's career within the context of unionising DJing, it also showcases new and unseen photography.
The exhibition has been curated in partnership with Daniel Oyegade, a Manchester-based photographer and visual artist working primarily in fashion and portraiture. In his work, he's interested in exploring the intersection between realism and surrealism.

SEEN is a Manchester based music magazine and platform, created by global majority and marginalised people. Founded with a bold anti-racist manifesto, it celebrates unheard voices and enables communities to narrate their own stories, while connecting with scenes linked to Britain's colonial history.
